Another great weekend of hockey saw our littlest purple stars in action in a blitz hosted by Greenfields Hockey Club in Taylor's Hill. Our Senior infants, 1st, 2nd and 3rd class crew had a fantastic afternoon playing their rivals in green and we thank Greenfields for being wonderful hosts as always. Our u14 purple and lilac teams were also in action in the u14 B league on Saturday with purples securing a win against Athlone Hockey Club and Lilac unlucky to lose a very competitive game with Galway Hockey Club . On Sunday our u16s were unlucky to lose out to Galway on a final score of 1-0. Our u16 girls can be very proud of the effort they put in and were unlucky not to convert a number of chances from penalty corners. Heads high and onto the next for this great group of players who are improving week on week. We look forward to more u14 and 16 games next weekend with our u14 lilacs and u16s taking on Kinvara Hockey on Saturday along with our Ladies 2s in action against Athlone on Sunday
